Summary:
The drama begins with Shinn typing, while narrating his academy diary, he mentions about the upcoming Mobile Suit Engineering exams in this scene.

Lunamaria then calls out to Rey, who was walking down the hall, she returns the notes she made a copy of about the upcoming engineering exams. In actuality, these notes were copies of the previous batch's MS engineering test.

Luna then finds Shinn in the academy canteen, and brags about the notes she had borrowed from Rey. She then offers to lend her copy to Shinn, which he immediately agrees to.

The next day, after they had taken the exams, Shinn comes in angry at Luna, for the notes she had lent him were actually not about MS engineering but for something else. Rey hesitantly confirms this fact, and the three were found out of attempted cheating due to their exact answer patterns.

After fulfilling their extra school load as punishment for attempted cheating, the next set of exams were coming in and Shinn swears that he wouldn't lose to both Luna and Rey. Rey then confesses his admiration of Shinn's fighting spirit, to Luna's surprise.

Then, the exam results are released, and as Luna asked Shinn about his exam results, he brags about his very high mark. Shinn and Luna then notice the presence of PLANTS Representative Gilbert Durandall in the academy, which makes Rey tense. Luna then tells Rey about Shinn unusual score, and when she asked for his exam results, he hesitantly showed her, as she finds out that Shinn got a higher mark than him. Because they can't believe that Shinn got higher, both Shinn and Luna tell Rey that there might have been a mistake in the checking, which Rey dismisses, saying that he really didn't do well this exam. The drama then ends with Rey swearing to never get beaten by Shinn, and to not embarrass himself to Gil again.
