Jasmine is just TOO ADORABLE!!!

Can birds drink too much water. Geronimo will drink a lot of water in a creek or when he gets a chance to have warm water?

I really don't know if birds can drink too much water... Jazz has always gone for drinking a lot of water if its warm.. It so quickly comes back out (lol) that I've never been worried about it. We've been staying warm & Jasmine's feathers have stayed beautiful this winter with having her sun lamp. : ) Hope you & Geronimo are well too...

Are you saying a sun lamp is good for feathers? I thought only misting was good. Geronimo's vet said that birds need 10 to 12 hours of sunlight daily. He suggested a lizard lamp. Do you know if a sunlamp is better than any other kind of lamp.

It seems the light has made a difference for Jasmine. It's on a timer & comes on for 2 hours in the morning, afternoon & early evening. It's a Spiralux compact fluorescent

Thanks for the information on light for parrots. I just wish every bird owner would put a high priority on making sure a bird gets enough light.
