I got my blood work, prescription, prescription pick up and first shot (done by myself) all done in one day in the same building. I think I must be a weird case. But the point is, if you can get that prescription then, like Wes said, it's totally doable.

:( I'm sorry to hear that your appointment keeps getting pushed back. I can definitely relate--my meeting with a social worker to get approved for testosterone was delayed two months at the clinic I go to in Boston. Have you ever considered Fenway Health in Boston? It may be a big commute from upstate New York but it's the closest resource I can think of. The upstate area is pretty depressed but keep your head up.
