A good and casual way do the magicians' favourite sleight.

As far as I know, Mystique909 first showcased this move in his video titled "Oblique" *kudos*, which can be found in the link below. I watched it and tried to imitate the extremely casual feel of performing the sleight and this is what I have. Hope you guys enjoy it.

  • so your idea was the same as that dude's? how can you say he inspired you if you COMPLEATLY ripped off his idea, and im sure it must be published as myself and a few close friends also do this move.

  • He does not teach the move in his video. I just watched it, found it amazing, and tried to make a move that imitates that effect. And if it's published, why is the idea 'his'?

  • i do not see how this is a "reply" as you did not awnser my question, instead totally going away from it.

i came to the conclusion that it must be published as i have seen this move numerous times, but this is obviously you just trying totake credit for someone els's work, in witch case i do not agree and think you should remov this video. and why should he "teach the move"?, i dont wish to carry on with this stupid argument, as you can see... its going nowere.

    respectfully, josh.

  • This exchange was not taken to be an argument from the first place. You asked if my video could be considered an inspiration as compared to a rip off of his video. I gave you a reply to that, but for some reason you were unable to understand what I was saying and somehow totally misinterpreted my reply. Hence i'll try to explain again.

  • As he did not explain the method to do this move, what I merely did was simply to think of a method that could produce the same effect. It was not as if I studied his video umpteen times and tried to look for loopholes to learn this effect. I simply saw his video, and thought of this way to achieve the same effect. Moreover, I did not claim sole credit for this move. If you care to look at the description you'll notice that I did credit him. Thank you for your interest.

  • ok, im sure you know were i am coming from, can you atleast change the part about this being a (insperation) and maybe put somthing like : " this is my handlin of...", but thanks for taking the time to reply.

    regards.

  • I understand. Cheers.

  • @BoyloveGal whoa guys. i created this move (this is mystique909, this is my new account) about five years ago. as far as i know i created this handling of a double. as far as i know i was the first to come up with this move as i have yet to see anyone else who has done this, or published it before. i have created multiple versions of this double which are still in the process of being filmed.

and JoshMaddocks, BoyloveGal did not rip this move off of me, he credited me as the creator.

  • how do u do this?

  • Wow, awesome, you fooled me.. keep up the awesome work :)
