I am so jealous! I used to have one of these. Pretty sure it was a color classic II. I stupidly got rid of it when I was moving to melbourne, I asked around to see if any friends would want it, but nope. So, in all my infinite widsom I give it to an op shop. I got rid of so much stuff in that move, and I just never used it much. To really rub salt into my wounds it was given to me for free from a friend who missplaced a VHS tape of mine. Shame I didn't know how sought after these are.

Just turned my LC 630 on for the first time in a year today... ah, the magic!
It gave me flashing disks for ages but after the tenth time it decided to work. (shrugs)

Buy one of the boards mentioned above. they're better than the standard parts.
if it breaks, send me a comment

Finding a main board for this machine is difficult. You could upgrade the board to a LC 520, 550 or 575. The older SCSI hard drives are not in production anymore. Auctions are usually the way to go in order to look for parts.
You're probably better off buying a complete computer and keeping the one you already have for spare parts.
Hope all this helps.
