3rd place winner Dance competition 35th Wigan

I spoke to this lady after the first record in the dance competition, white dress to the right of the screen. I told her to keep spinning then she would be in the top 3. I was right, she was third, I didnt make the dance off, but was pleased enough to be able to say to all my friends back home I was in the Wigan dance competition! I was never brave enough to enter at the casino as you had to dance on the stage, I could do the spits and backdrops in those days, sadly no longer, but I really enjoyed the evening. Was I really the only southerner there? Everyone I spoke to have a accent north of Birmingham

Great effort from all and great to see so many flying the flag in the UK. I remember the stage and competitions well at the Wigan Casino, 3 first place 2 second, I did ok lol. Memories are awesome, just like the music. Long life, great Health and best wishes to you all. KTF-Sparky.

her name is Chrissie, shes a good friend of ours . she was 3rd, 2nd was 'Chippie' and 1st was Pete (nottingham). all friends of ours. My fiance made the skirt by the way. the only down side to the night was the Flrtations playing live, they kinda spoilt it for me with a cabaret act!
