(Charlotte FDNC), On November 1, 2010 Charlotte Firefighters rescue a stranded worker from an elevation of approximately 130 feet at the steeple of First Presbyterian Church in uptown Charlotte. Firefighters from the 1st Battalion and Rescue Company 10 effected the rescue in approximately 20 minutes without incident. The stranded worker, who was not injured was preparing the steeple to be painted.
Reminds me of the joke when the city workers got to their jobsite and realized that they had no shovels. When they called the office to have shovels sent out to them the supervisor said just lean on each other until they arrive.
