I love Paris

DJ Le Clown loves... Paris : Frank Sinatra vs The Prodigy
Yes mates I love Paris. It's been a while I was waiting for a good occasion to do a mashup on Paris. I've always been a fan of "I love Paris" from Frank Sinatra and wether I love to mix different moods and times, it was quite difficult to find a good way of refreshing that great song until I realized it could work with The Prodigy's "No good (Start the Dance)" with it's fantastic Kelly Charles sample ! That was it.
For the video I used a lot of "Moulin Rouge" shots which is for me a masterpiece and maybe the first Mashup movie...It's also a great tribute to an imaginary Paris. I did used too "Paris 2054 renaissance" which is a kind of graphic bible for me. I also grabbed some of "Inception" Paris shots, which are simply brilliants. For Mr Sinatra it was more tricky as there's no film versions of this song , so i had to search the garbages of the web to get the good images of him. I wanted him young and slightly devilish as he always seemed to me. As Prodigy's vid is black n white it was nize to make Frank S move into their dark & crazy party. I did use too, few other bits of films, but for u to guess...Dedicated to Manu Casana ; many Thx to him for the good Rave sounds he bring to our ears since 1989...Well, Rendez-vous metro Abbesse...Have a nice trip...

C'est pas pour critiquer - d'ailleurs qui suis-je pour me le permettre ! - mais un petit coup de Miss Kittin & the Hacker aurait donné un côté un poil cynique !
