It's simply a quick demonstration of the game so that anyone not familiar with these old games can see what it looks like.
Any comments or opinions I make regarding these games should largely be taken with a pinch of salt, as they are usually based entirely on first impressions after a very brief play.

Phoenix was a better port than Galaxian

Yeah, it was, though oddly, I always preferred playing Galaxian.

I don't know of radarscope, but Galaxian is an absolute classic. It was the next big thing after Space Invaders, featuring colour graphics and diving enemies, as opposed to a bunch of aliens who just crawled along in formation.

@SteveBenway I agree. Phoenix on the 2600 bores the heck out of me, but Galaxian I find quite addictive.

Favorite Atari game?........PONG! and I'm old enough that I rember the day when It, Space Invaders, and Asteroids first hit the Pinball arcade to everbodys excitement
