Which is completely fair, because if you don't pay for it then when you have a medical emergency and HAVE to go to the Dr/hospital, those costs will be shifted onto the taxpayers. That's why Obamacare is actually a somewhat conservative policy. You just have no idea what you're talking about, like most conservative voters.

Brown is a NUTJOB! I remember when he won & pimping out his daughters! Classy, I read things where he wrote about being in meetings with Kings, Queens etc.... another person that has NO business being in govt. Warren is for the middle class! Obama tried to get a Consumer Protection type cabinet position. She was the one they wanted the GOP blocked her. Time to cut the rope on Brown & let Warren get things done!

The mandate IS bs but it's a Republican idea which Obama initially opposed (he took it on as a "compromise" to the Republicans). If Obama had his way unopposed there would be no mandate. If you don't believe me, listen to him argue against the mandate in 2008 (and listen to Romney argue for it when he was governor).

Just one of many, many examples where Obama should never have compromised with the Republicans, but did.

The rest of the bill is good though and doesn't require the mandate.

also, if i dont pay my 1% fine, the IRS will be hunting me down for it. Obamacare has given the IRS 500 million more dollars just to do so. this is one of at least 10 reasons why i dont like obamacare.
