Fragonard Perfume Museum - Paris

TÜRKÇE: (scroll down for English text) Paris'teki Fragonard dükkanına bitişik bu küçük müze, şehir merkezindeki Opera binasının yanında, rue Scribe 9 numara'da yer alıyor.

Dükkana girdiğinizde, siz merdivenlerden çıkıp gezmeye başlamadan önce bir rehber hanım size eşlik etmeye ve kendi lisanınızda size çok çok basit parfüm bilgileri vermeye başlıyor. Turunuz, kaçınılmaz olarak Fragonard ürünlerinin satıldığı dükkanda son buluyor ve dükkana girdiğinizde size eşlik etmekte olan rehberiniz de doğal olarak bir satış elemanına dönüşüyor : )

Bu video, o küçük müzeden bazı görüntüler içeriyor. İmbikler, eski parfüm şişeleri, etiketler, parfüm çantaları, bir parfümör orgu ve kokuları isimlerle eşleştirmeniz gereken küçük bir etkileşimli oyun, bunlarin arasında yer alıyor. Ne yazık ki altyazı yok ve filmin lisanı sadece Fransızca. Ancak Fransızca bilmeseniz de görüntülerin fikir verebilecek kadar ilginç olduğunu düşünüyorum.

Müze ve Fragonard dükkanına ulaşmak için 3,7 veya 8 numaralı metro hattına binilip "Opera" istasyonunda iniliyor.

ENGLISH: This small museum annexed to the Fragonard shop is at 9 rue Scribe, right near the Opera House in central Paris.

Once you enter the shop, before you climb the stairs up for the museum, a hostess speaking your language starts guiding you through the corridors and giving the very (very very) basic info about the history of perfumes. The tour -inevitably- ends in the Fragonard shop where the Fragonard products are sold and once you are in the shop, your tour guide naturally transforms into a sales assistant : )

This vido clip shows some highlights from this small museum which contains alembics, vintage perfume bottles, old commercials, a perfumer's organ and an interactive game in which you should find the names of odor samples. Unfortunately there are no subtitles and the language spoken in the movie is only French. However, even if you do not speak any French, i believe that the images presented are interesting enough to give you a rough idea.

You can take metro lines 3, 7 or 8 and step off the train at the "Opera" station to reach the museum and the Fragonard shop.
