  • Just because you people only know about the islands of Hawaii doesn't mean every island speaks Hawaiian haha...please respect the language and culture of each island

  • @ebmccm1 @ebmccm1 It's sad how the word 'Polynesia' has become a gimmick.... When people of the western world think Pacific Islanders, they think 'Hawaii'.... no offense, but there are more islands out there with more traditional culture that has been sustained for thousands of years.... Hawaii seems to be all tourism.... Don't get me wrong, I think Hawaii is great - It's just that there are thousands of islands with their own story to tell.

    Peace,

  • this song is TONGAN how did people get hawaiian african tribal music??

  • @kapukawai9 No, this song is linguistically and originally Maori. The Tongan vocabulary doesn't consist of words starting with 'W' or 'R' such as "Waiari" or "Romaita" as heard in the song.

Also, the reason why the title reads, "Hawaii African Tribal Music...." is because this is the album name in which the song was playlisted in. Obviously the album aims for an anthology of an electic array of music, hence "...African Tribal" in the title.

    Peace,

    Dangerislander.

  • ia a oso afelika le au momo...LOL...damn its Maori....get it right..

  • @patricia6356 Yes. I know it is Maori but that is the album name! lol.

  • E Papa a Maori. song.it not from hawaii.lol

  • its maori buut it sounds quite nice to listen to with a different beat :)

  • @dangerislander thank you!!!!!!!!!! i always think this, it's surprising how ignorant some people in england are, when asked if i was paki or fillipino etc, i told them i was polynesian, many people dont knw what that means but others would assume a girl in a grass skirt with a flower in her hair from hawaii. i dont even tell them im maori because half of them dont what a maori is, i think it's shameful from a country where rugby is their 3rd national sport!

  • This song is actually MAORI, no worries peace to everyone !

  • @NakitaMakiri09 nice comment there
