Australia isn't facing a future water crisis; Australia is IN water crisis. Politically speaking, this has been ignored too long, realised too late, and addressed with last-minute plans cobbled-together by individual state leaders. In recent months, the Federal Government has attempted to look like it has a meaningful water policy. Smarter solutions are required. For example, instead of damming our rivers, free water tanks installed in homes would be a cheaper and more effective solution, as a recent study found. It's back to basics on this one: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. The principle has been around a long time; it's time to apply to it water, on a nationwide basis.
good video. it is ridiculous that farmers have their water restricted while rich people up stream play golf on lush lawns.
MOST water is used for industry - stop buying stuff we don't need.

Well, the last I heard about funding for water tanks was that only the urban dwellers were going to get any money. That seems a little odd as so many people that rely on tank water get nothing!!
