  • You are completely right. All the more that it represents the most difficult technic to deal with, if you want to get an aesthetic success. Nevertheless, you have to know that these treatments have been previously done and didn't give satisfaction to the patient. In addition, let me precise that the ceramist is member of the patient's family and you will may be understand why this solution has been choosen.

  • What was the long round end taper bur you used? Thanks

  • @rubikbg Thanks for your nice comments. It is a 014 diameter diamond burs which achieves a 0.3 to 0.4mm preparation depth at the margin level (Magne's Technique)

  • about 1500-2000 CHF

  • What about the gingivitis? Wouldn't it have been better if you had treated it before the preparation ?

  • Thanks for the upload :)

  • In my opinion a solution with very unnaceptable tooth reduction. Why not selectively bleach and maintain structure.I'm seeing many of these so called cosmetic preps devitalising due to cutting of sound tooth structure. As dentists we need to lay off the drill.!

  • thank u very much sir keep us enlightrn..

  • @arbnorkica Shouldn't matter much because he achieved at least 0.5 mm gum retraction with the 00 cord

  • Why are these teeth getting veneered? Can you use this technique on a Dentek?

  • @MuLaTiSiMa I just got an estimate from my dentist, it's 900 bucks per tooth. Yeah, ouch!! I'm having four of them put on. Luckily my insurance is going to take care of most of it but since it's cosmetic I'll be on the hook for about 2g's.

  • nice work..i really needed this..many thanks..
