How well will this car withstand beating and banging like the Crown Vic? Pursuit driving is more than hot laps around a race track. I do not really see any advantage other than horsepower for the new car. Put a Mustang GT 5.0L engine in the Vic, and I am sure it would hand the plastic and aluminum foil upstart it's walkin' papers. GM is just as bad... the new Caprice isn't even available to the general public. The Dodge is, but it will spend more time in the shop than on the road, as always

Ford should have put a 5 speed behind the 4.6L on the Crown Vics, but Crown Vic's are good cars

The Crown Vic was catching too much air the Taurus was well planted and was overtaking the Crown Vic, Would have liked to the the pass footage.

I hate the new ford Police interceptor. it sounds like a piece of junk. The Crown Vics are the shit.
