Everybody gets tax rebates. If you actually watch the news you'll see there's a bias for Democrats.

How many earmarks did President Bush add? thousands of earmarks!!! the willing ignorance of the American people is the only thing that keeps the Republican Party in office. earmarks are how states get federal funding for state programs-like a tax rebate- the question is where is this money going, whats being funded and who's spending it! maybe the Mainstream news Could spend some time on these subjects :)

Really about 97% of Congress are corrupt, power hungry and are only in it for their own, their families and close friends interests. Why do you think Congress has its lowest approval rating ever?
This is another example of why we need to drastic cut the size of the federal government so earmarks and corruption wouldn't exist.
I just love it how Congress thinks it is their money...

Now that Dems have control, discussion of earmarks is all the rage. Where were you when the Repubs were doing it? Yes, earmarks are bad. Solution? Vote out all encumbents who support them, whatever your party.
