GM still employ more americans than all the foreign brands combined. Also we should blame who is at fault, the union. you try and operated a company by paying your employees outragious amounts for a basic assembly line job.

GM doesn't give a shit about America. GM dumps toxic waste and crappy gas guzzling vehicles all over it, quietly moves manufacturing overseas, and then they come begging for our tax dollars when they start getting low.
Then, after that, they have the gall to try to exploit our patriotism to sell us cars.
Buy whatever truck you think is best. But don't buy a chevy because some marketing asshole tries to make you associate it with american and working man's pride.
its really sad what has happened to gm with this bankruptcy thing going on. but im sure there's a silver lining behind this storm. gm became to greedy and it took its toll on the company. gm will come out stronger with better fundamentals after they restructure the company back. lets just pray that everything will turn out better soon. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND EVERYBODY ELSE!
The Honda Jazz (Fit in the US) is still the most popular car in Japan. They love American products (except for the XBox) and American culture in Japan because it's so different from theirs. Still, in Japan where gas is still over $4 a gal. and cars are heavily taxed it's not very practical to own a V8 or even a V6. Hence why the Cruze is currently sold in Japan.
