I have been for a couple flights in this old girl and I love it.

  • The two pilot's in this video are both named Mike.

The Harvard flight video actually has the CEO flying Dave R at the controls.

  • Wow awesome! Great looking panel and the countryside is beautiful!

  • Honestly I don't remember at this point. I was looking up a few planes at the time I commented here. I guess I just got excited when I found the video. Good to know this plane is still flying out there. So much history they've had.

  • Maybe the Electra 10a....They look similar

  • this video reminds me of the view from the cheap seats during my days in 400 Squadron, back in 1964, when they flew Expiditors and Ottors. I always remember, the pilot and co- pilot always flew with the window open, And the view of Mount Hope Airport is spectactler,

  • Sorry, regarding the 'none flying these days' I was getting mixed up with some other plane I was thinking about. My bad.

  • Very nice! Last I heard was none of the aircraft was flying to this day. Seems I was misinformed. And actually pretty glad for it. Ever since someone did a picture of one of these planes, I've been rather curious about them. Sadly though, I haven't been able to at least find a model of one yet.
