Loving how you give your maxi skirt that sophisticated edge with boyfriend blazer. How would you suggest you keep the maxi look relevant in winter months, when it's a bit too chilly for just a blazer?

what if you're short? I'm just 5 feet tall and about 10lbs over weight and I always have a hard time with dresses because they are either 2 short or 2 long. I always read that I should keep things at knee length. Does wearing maxi skirts/dresses make short people look shorter? I'm so glad I found this channel! And I think the glasses look cute.

@chinychock Hey hun, i'm short myself i'm barely 5'1 and I wear maxi skirts and maxi dresses all of the time!!!but alot fashion experts say keep things above your knee if your short, but i dn't listen to that. It's all about what you like on you,but tailoring is key and many times it's pretty cheap =) when you get your clothes tailored they look ten times more expensive and put together =) so whenever you buy a dress or skirt you really love but seems too long for you just get it hemmed.

@erickabanana hey hun! you know i've said that about a lot of trends lol for example when pointed shoulder blazers came out i was like that is not it!!! lol but then i tried it on and i liked it, so the moral here is the things that you dislike the most once you try it on may turn out to be your favorite piece in your wardrobe, so try everything on even if you may think you may hate, you may just love it or you may just really hate it lol nothing beats a failure but a try =)
