thank you for sharing this video, while I am sure some things have changed in five months, this still relieves me (this is my first time dealing with a deployment and I have to admit I've been very anxious)...call it ignorant or what ever you want, while it may not be "safe", I feel much better being able to see where, and for the most part, how my husband is living

@whatswrongwiddya well i am combat arms and we ran out of this fob. route clearance to be precise. from my platoon we had 2 kia and 4 purple hearts while operating out of here. thats aside from all the other dets that we took, not to mention firefights, indirect fire and rpg fire. so what if the fob is set up nice? also right on the pakistan border so its not like the taliban travel there much. try to do some research before you stick your foot in your mouth and disrespect fallen soldiers

for widdya, you are some kind of retard. when i was 2 spin buldak in 2010 4 people from my squad of 9 got purple hearts. and i really dont think that route clearance is a bunch of officers. why dont you go find the widowmaker? the fact that the fob is well set up is something that should be applauded.

of money paying people to do our laundry cook our food & do every other job that a military member is trained to do. I am ashamed to see that the contractors here almost out number the service man and make 5 times what we do. what they dont show you is that they are 90 % hired from other countries than the US.... Dyncorp / KBR run this so called war and its a fucking joke .....5 star chef my ass -- i can make shitty pumpkin pie my damn self ...

@whatswrongwidda this is not a head quarters unit for officers as there are few.....all the troops here do live this way and NOBODY is dug in the sand or eats MRE's .....this place is small and a joke ...I can run from one end to the other in a minute and a half .....We are so restrained by political bullshit and pussy ass leaders that we cant even do our jobs. The missions that we do here are a waste of time and money and its frustrating. Civillians run everything here and we waste a fuckton...
