2011 Little Sunshine - part2

2011 Little Sunshine決賽於七月九日假本那比麗晶廣場舉行，現場人山人海，參賽者的家人、朋友及同學扶老攜幼齊來支持。不少家長更一早前來尋找有利位置為子女拍照及打氣。8位­小小Sunshine連日來苦練的舞步大派用場，一場勁舞Dancing Kids為2011Little Sunshine揭開序幕。大會司儀為FM96.1DJ捷穎及Janice，而去屆Little Sunshine冠軍Charine張心怡今年已升格擔任客席司儀，與兩位大姐姐一起介紹參賽者出場。

Held on Saturday, July 9 at Burnaby's Crystal Mall, the 2nd annual Little Sunshine contest was a talent search for kids between 4 and 10 years old who can perform in Chinese on stage, on radio and on TV. This year's finalists, 4 boys and 4 girls who had beat hundreds of hopefuls to make it to the final, wowed exhilarated fans in the packed venue.

8位小小Sunshine年齡介乎4至10歲，4男4女。他們穿上醒目有型的潮服，精靈醒目，活力十足。三位評判（FM961「七彩朱古力」節目主持阿愷、2008年Su­nshine Nation冠軍Kidi陳超及兒童教育中心負責人張析）向小小Sunshine發問問題，而參賽者則以流利的國語或粵語回答，題目環繞家庭、學校、興趣、寵物、志願及I­Q等。小朋友天真瀾漫，年紀雖小，但對答有板有眼並且創意無限。至於才藝表演方面亦十分多樣化，有跆拳道、小提琴、古箏、彈琴、芭蕾舞及唱歌跳舞等。

After the opening dance, 7 years old Charine Cheung, Champion of last year's Little Sunshine contest, acted as a guest MC and introduced the finalists on stage. Then one by one, the 8 Little Sunshine did self introduction, cat walking and posing. For the talent session the finalists sang, danced, played various musical instruments and even did some Taekwondo kicks and flips. Another highlight of the contest was the Q&A session when the judges challenged the 8 finalists by asking questions related to family, friends, hobbies and pets. Some of the answers were creative; others were thoughtful but most were just plain funny. For example, when asked about friendship, Best Poses Award winner Enver giggled "I have 20 girlfriends, but I can only remember two of their names..." and the audience immediately cracked up.
