  • Maybe someone can help me find the name of this movie. I saw it when I was very little early 80's... the premise was a guy traveled to different times or dimensions to rescue his girlfriend using a wrist device. It had a battle at the end against a demon or alien... Anyone know the name?

  • I believe you are thinking of "Krull".

  • I think he main problem with the matrix sequels was timing, they took way to long to release them. By the time they came out all the ground breaking fx in the first one were seen every where ( scary movie for gods sake!), which in my opinion really hampered the appeal of the follow ups. By the time they were released it was old news. Not nearly the same impact.

  • Thanks. i forgot about the later david cronige berg film i saw it once whay back then . and then remember it but not what it was called . and motroplise. wow thanks i love that movie

  • The very end of Metropolis scared the crap out of me! It was so effective and I absolutely loved it! And I prefer Dark City to The Matrix as well <3

  • Hey, I have a new movie to go check out. I've seen all the movies on this list except Natural City. Looks superb. Thanx

  • Just to be clear, this viewpoint shows that the Matrix trilogy is the philosophical sequel to Ghost in the Shell (GITS). GITS2: Innocence does not follow Motoko’s journey after she integrates – Neo does. GITS2: Innocence is really a furthering of the philosophies that Oshii advanced in Avalon, meaning that conceptually, GITS2: Innocence is the sequel to Avalon, not the original GITS.

  • "Two shitting matrix sequels that came after" Ow... that really hurt. Matrix reloaded was like a sequel to Ghost in the Shell, and Matrix Revolutions was VERY MUCH a sequel to Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence. Take a look at Ghost in the Shell, and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, since you like those kind of movies. Also might recommend as a weird/underrated find. BRAZIL A Terry Gilliam masterpiece that wasn't shown in theaters.

  • Dark City is amazing!

  • Nice Choice!

  • Man, I have had the argument about Jennifer Connelly with so many people! THANK YOU! lol "Skeletor" fits perfectly, and Dark City was an excellent film.

  • Halcyon and on and on and on and on..
