Sonic Generations: Speed Highway Act 2

Even though I made all of those nostalgic comments in the Act 1 video, it's truly Act 2 that brings the feel of Sonic Adventure back in this stage. All of the memorable moments from the original Speed Highway are present, including riding helicopters, running down the side of a building and giant rockets that blast you off to different areas in the city.

It should come as no surprise that this is probably my favourite level in the whole of Sonic Generations. There are lots of other very lovely stages to look at, but this stage is everything I love about the Sonic games of the last 10 years. The immersion, the drive, the adrenaline... the speed!

I really wish this level was longer than it actually is, its my favorite level of the entire game (maybe even the entire franchise), and I honestly feel that they should've given this one more than 2 acts, let alone the other levels. Every time I play Generations though, this is the stage I keep going back to, so that feeling is nice enough...BUT THEY STILL SHOULD HAVE DONE MORE!!!!

To think, Sonic went to Speed Highway because he was searching for Amy after he lost her in Twinkle Park. If she was anywhere in the first 40 seconds of this video, Sonic would have sped straight past her without even realising she was there
