  • If the second amendment doesn't apply to the cities and states, none of the Constitution does. Then the cities and states are free to make slavery legal and free to violate first amendment protections of speech and religion. That's the real issue behind this suit.

  • Hurray Alan Gura!

  • @mosh0r Liberals would still go for it. They are against anything that is good, I'm convinced now.

  • how can I email Alan?? I too have a 2nd right violated,,Jim in Texas

  • GOOD GOING ALAN GURA!

  • Did you know aldermen and the major in Chicago are designated as "peacekeepers" and are allowed to conceal carry weapons.

Ruling class gets guns. Ruled is banned from guns. How fucking obvious can it get? 27 years this has been going on? You serious? McDonald and Gura are heroes.

  • 'd love to see local govt create a license to publish. All published work, emails, websites etc could only be written if the citizen had a valid permit. Some states would be more lenient than others. Some states would have a shall-issue publish permit, where others you would need to display a pressing need to publish information.

  • States don't have rights, only humans have rights. The reason for the Fourteenth amendment was black people were being denied their rights in the Bill of Rights. Specifically 2nd amendment rights. The Fourteenth was passed after many states passed laws banning blacks from owning guns in the reconstruction era. The law was designed to allow blacks to arm themselves against state militias and state police officers who were going around in gangs lynching blacks.

  • That's the first time I heard Alan use the term EBR. He's definitely on our side.

  • if d.c can ban the 2nd amdment then i hope me hometown throws out the 16th

  • Wow, beck did not let him off the hook intellectually. Good interview.

  • Absolutely. I am amazed to see a fellow American with an actual amount of foresight.

    Kudos to you!
