The recipe below is the base recipe I went by meaning I used it as a guide but I changed it up a bit.
Watch the video for changes made. Recipe is courtesy of allrecipes.com

INGREDIENTS * 1 (3.5 ounce) package cook and serve butterscotch pudding mix * 3/4 cup sugar * 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon * 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans * 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted * 3 (10 ounce) cans refrigerated biscuits * add to recipe box Add to Recipe Box My folders: * add to shopping list Add to Shopping List * Customize Recipe * add a personal note Add a Personal Note

DIRECTIONS 1. In a plastic bowl with tight-fitting lid, combine pudding mix, sugar, cinnamon and pecans if desired. Pour the butter into a shallow bowl. Cut the biscuits into quarters. Dip several pieces into the butter, then place in bowl; cover and shake. Remove to a greased 10-in. fluted tube pan. Continue until all the biscuit pieces are coated. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes. Cool in pan for 30 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.

  • Oh my gosh, the quote never got posted although it showed up on my Ipod... sorry about that. I'm such a dork for posting so much... The quote my Aunt always said in the kitchen that I never forgot was... "Only love is better than butter" LoL Phew, now hopefully this time my entire message got posted and went thru.

  • PS... Sorry, just had to add one more thing that came to mind when reading a comment posted below "too much butter." This reminds me of a great Aunt I had who was a most fantastic cook. She would be in her kitchen cooking a full course Sunday dinner and just chatting away. For some reason I just loved the sound of that woman's voice. As a child I would sit at her table snapping green beans while she prepared food and told me the most interesting life stories or quotes. Here's one I never forg

  • Oh my gosh, this was sooo yummy! I've made this type of monkey bread before but never thought to try the puddin which really adds to the recipe if you like things gooey... which I do! I used the vanilla puddin instead because I knew already that I was going to drizzle a little sweetened condensed milk on top. I really enjoyed viewing the poster of this video because she makes it clear that recipes are only a guideline and we can play around with them to taste. Great tutorial Krystal... thanks

  • @iBeautifulSecret There is no such thing as TO much butter. The butter adds flavor and you should put a good amount because of the biscuits....Trust.I made this a few hours ago and it was mmm.. mm. good..I used vanilla pudding mix because Im not a huge fan of Butterscotch...and I added a little extra brown sugar on top....This sister can Cook so try this recipe, you wont be disappointed.....Thank you soo much for posting this recipe....**Hugs** :-)
