This video has slow motion of a Great Dane Jessie running from the side of her while she is running at 30mph. I have had a lot of viewers ask to see it in slow motion. I wish I had used a HD camera but it still definately shows her stride and how her legs are getting her to those speeds. I know there are faster animals and that is cool. I don't claim to have the fastest dog in the world, just thought her long stride and physical form are really neat to watch. Not a view I got to see very often so I hope you enjoy as I have. This is pretty much the same video however after it is done, it plays it at 20th the speed of real time. Used a Yamaha Rhino to keep up with her and a Sony TRV950 to video. Jessie has been doing this for years. Never a close call to her getting hurt and she is extremely healthy and happy. Some say a dane shouldn't run like this, I'll let you tell Jessie that, it will break her heart. She is in great shape and does this often, whether it's racing me or chasing a squirrel or a deer or whatever. Nothing wrong with a couch dane but that isn't Jessie.

  • @bluebrakes 100% full blooded Great Dane. Big dog, small dane. Around 120 lbs.

  • If you ever get the chance, could you record her running like this with your HD camera? I think it would be awesome drawing reference. :) Thanks!

  • @skimoriver01 Smaller ones tend to be better shaped and more agile, had 3 of them, a large skinny one, a 140 lbs behemoth very wide, and and a very agile female that run just like yours. It would be great to see it on a better camera!

  • Nice looking dane, how old is she?

  • What a gorgeous beast. That last frame was excellent!
