Why are people comparing this to the Ink Spots version? In the scene, she is emotional and upset, so she's not singing her best. That's the whole point. She's having a revelation as she sings, that she really loves Michael. It's not the way she would do it if it was for a CD.

you know an actor is good when she can make you cry without looking at her. just listening at Amy Adams quivering voice makes me tear too... Lee Pace made it so much more romantic.... <3

@ace147900 Just a fix of what I said: It wasn't that I couldn't find a version that didn't cut off, it was that there was only one version I liked in particular (prior to finding this one, of course) that did cut off a bit too short, and didn't seem to have an album or mp3 version of. It was the one of the Ink Spots in something like a music video, and is the first video you'd see when searching "If I Didn't Care".

For the longest while, I've been looking for a good version of "If I Didn't Care" by the Ink Spots for a project of mine, but I couldn't find a version that didn't cut off.

I actually skipped over this version (Miss Pettigrew) several times before finally listening to it. When I did, I fell in love with it immediately, and saw that it fit into my project even more perfectly than the Ink Spot's version.
