I can see that scarring would worry you. Amalia was much younger when she had her baby acne; we never really worried and it went away on its own. For normal baby acne, the best treatment is none at all. But, given that your son is 7 months old, I would have his pediatrician confirm it's acne. If it is, then it will go away, no scarring, and he'll be crawling on the beach before you know it.
