The tsunami would have reached a height of about 40 metres on the continental shelf near what is now Calabria, causing waves 8 to 13 metres high along the coasts of modern Greece and Libya, and 2 to 4 metres high in parts of Egypt and Syria.

  • I live just down the coast under Mount Etna, 62 meters above sea level, and 2 km away from  sea, but this simulation is to some tsunami already happened, or some probable tsunami?
