Keeping young people interested in farming and agriculture is paramount to meeting future global food needs, according to the Rural Poverty Report 2011 prepared by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). In order to guarantee that there is enough food to support the world's estimated 9 billion people living by the year 2050, jobs in agriculture must become more appealing to the next generation. In this video, farmer Abigial Abagure talks about some of the difficulties she faces both economically and motivationally working in agriculture. For more information on the report go to: http://www.ifad.org/rpr2011/index.htm
