Viking Whipcord - My First Time!

Here is a video of my friends Dana and Devin Ellenwood (and myself during the last 1:30 minutes or so) doing Viking whipcord in their backyard. Sorry about the crap quality of the video. If you watch the end of the video you get to see me trying to do Viking whipcord for the first time.

Basically, Viking whipcord is braid making using the method shown above. You can use the braid for trims, as the straps for tube dresses and in other crafts, etc.

Dana is also the one woman powerhouse behind "The Feather and Scale." She has made ALL of my garb and is fantastic and very knowledgeable.
