Space Ship Earth System Reboot at Epcot

When I was on the ride last they had a glitch and needed to reboot the computer system. So our screens went to black and then restarted and you could see a windows desktop screen for a few minutes. Sorry, for the bad photo only at the last second did I get my cell phone camera out for the shot.

Funny -- with their partnership with Pixar, you'd figure Disney would be using Macs instead of Windows products.

PC are normally better for this type of thing. What I find odd is that they were using Windows rather than a Linux. My guess is that has more to do with the fact they probably could use off the shelf code to make this easier with windows. Personally, that is the route I would probably have taken, but then again that is also what I program in for a living so my opinion may be bias.

i like how they are prepared for this so they have a background that does with the ride and all that lol.

so its not like a dvd, i would think it is.

not a game or software but idk... disney works in MAGICAl ways

disney should have there own computers!
