Yeah at least bring someone from the same era, or like you mentioned someone kinda assosiated with them. I don't think they should be bringing out new stuff. Tour with Phil doing it for Layne's memory yeah i could of dug that but this shit no way.

Why the hell didnt AIC choose phill anselmo for the new AIC .same kinda lifestyle both from the end of the glam era & with simmilar singing, range &lyrical content. the new singer i have nothing against but its not AIC and never will be. i dont think can bring anything to them / just recite there old stuff in a karioke like fassion. so again phill can bring some new songs to them as well as bring alive there old stuff and maybe revive / evolve some good music.

personally i think william is pretty good, noone can expect him to be layne, these were layne's songs. noone can sing them the way he did, but to say william sucks isn't fair. more power to aic for doin what they wanna do.

You people need to get over it and move on! they aren't trying to put out new material with Duvall, they are just going out and playing live with the best they can do and have fun. I loved Layne's voice as much as the rest of you but you what he is dead and gone. GET OVER IT!

if layne was still alive I would agree with you completely, but you know what, as much as I love Layne's voice, he isn't here anymore and it is by his own accord. A true fan would appreciate what they are doing to give us AIC music live again. This show had all of Layne's family there and they spoke before the concert and they fully support what the guys are doing. Now if they try and record new material with Will and call it AIC then all of us "true fans" would be offended.
