My favorite Frankie Laine song is "South of The Border', probably an obscurity. If anyone has it, please post it. My favorite Buck Clayton number is 'Broadway'. Maybe someone can post that, too, both sides. Thank You.

Great song. Fine renditions, both vocal and orchestral. Another excellent post from Mark.

Frankie recorded until about 90 years of age and was amazing up to the end. A great, underappreciated talent.

Yes Laine was a great Jazz Man, long before Mitch Miller got ahold of him. But I like his jazz but I perfer his big voice Pop of the fifties better. Frankie was one of the few that could sing anything and make it his own.
There will never be another like him.

Absolutely, my own personal favorite is "We'll be together Again"

Well to tell you the truth, "We'll be together again" is one of my least favorite
Laine songs. I know everyone has recorded it
but it does nothing for me.
