Frog Squash is definitely a useful spell. I was fighting Lavos core and my party were all down to 1 HP. I for squashed the core and won the game! I always used frog squash when my HP was flashing

So I am the only one who thinks Magus commits suicide at the end? I mean yeah, he probably would have died from the wounds Frog inflicted, but that lightning strike before he disappears makes me think he killed himself for some reason.

I saved two games, one where I killed Magus and another where I let him join the party. Tbh the one where I defeated him was sad. Especially when the theme plays afterwards. Baww'd hard.

No, Frog cannot defeat Magus alone the first encounter (well excluding game plus, I was more talking storyline wise though)

The very first gate is the entity wanting you to see the events forthcoming. The only gate Lavos directly makes is more like the 4th or 5th, in the exact middle of the game with Magus and of course when he arrives in 65mil and just before you fight him in 12mil and/or Black Omen. Supposidly all the rest were the 'entity'.

Heh, great, that's one powerful Frog! If it was me in the same situation, I'd take rish and Frog Squash again, knowing that otherwise I'd die in a counterattack. ;)

Yeah he probably would die if I would have used it again, but just wanted to play it safe so I didn't have to record this again. :)
