Hey all,
Here's a scene I did during my 3rd year at the Actors Studio MFA Program at PACE UNIVERSITY.
For those of you who don't know the play here's a little more about it:
Set in the summer home of the Tyrone family, August 1912, the action begins in the morning, just after breakfast. James Tyrone and his oldest son Jamie are finally alone to talk. It's then that Jamie presses his father about his younger brother Edmund's violent coughing that he refuses to simply accept as a mere "summer cold." It's then that Tyrone reveals the truth about Edmund's condition and how despite the vast amounts of wealth, he is adamant that won't be able to "afford" to send Edmund to a top of the line medical facility. This leads both men into a bitter fight of accusations and blame. Jamie fighting for the life of his brother, Tyrone fighting for the future of the family. Yet underneath the pain and struggle lies the strong undercurrent of family love.
