Vapin' Mailman Blues (Final)

I hope you like this, 'cause it's the final version (at least as far as I'm gonna take it) of Vapin' Mailman Blues! Slightly better vocal track (best I'm gonna get for a while anyway), slightly better edited and a few extra shots thrown in for the heck of it.

If you're a vaper you'll probably enjoy this for the sentiment alone... If you're a Johnny Cash fan, it will depend on whether or not you're a vaper. If you're just looking for videosongs you will probably be disappointed that this not more "Pomplamoosian"... but I am neither the eye- nor ear-candy of Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn. Maybe that'll get better if I start working out... I have put on a few pounds since my "hittable" days...

Frankly, it's been a battle - mostly because it seems that editing video has a big learning curve anyway and it SUCKS even worse on Windows. First time ever I've wanted to try a Mac... but I've learned a lot working with a couple of different editors so next time should go more smoothly.

Anywho... stay tuned for my first official nicquid reviews coming in the next couple of weeks, and in the background I'll keep working on a couple of other song ideas and some continuing research on cleaning/filling cartos.

@epipemods - Why, as a matter of fact, it is. :) I managed to grab a used Protopype on ECF recently. Had to modify an eGo cone to shroud the 510 Mega dual coil cartos I settled on for it, and use a bit of silicone end cap tube on the battery connector to hold the cone in place. But I've been lovin' it, especially the fact that it can be set down without falling over. :) Now all I want is a Mjölnir.... or just about anything else you make... ;)

Totally cool. Now I have to decide which version I like better, they all have their highlights, like in the 2nd one where you are bouncing your head up & down, that's too cute! Okay, so what video editor did you use for this one?

@steeljan - I ended up using Cyberlink PowerDirector 9 Ultra64. A pain at first due to a problem in Nvidia's latest driver but once I found the right setting to tweak it's been a champ. The interface is cheesy and it could use an "Advanced Mode" for more granular control but the editing flex and 64-bit processing was worth the quirks. Honestly I like Sony Vegas' interface better, but it was a LOT harder to pull off the PIP effects in Vegas. Maybe because I didn't know what I was doing? :)
