South Asia hosts its own Euro 08 - 06 Jun 08

Now while all eyes are on Euro 2008 - there is a another slightly less high profile international competiton, thats taking place on the other side of the world. The South Asian Football Federation Championship involves teams like India and Nepal. And its hoped the competition will give the sport a higher profile in a region that contains over 1.5 billion potential players. Al Jazeera's Karthi Gnanasegaram reports from the Maldives.
