@jmac1334 People who ignore the Bible and God's moral values don't have ethics. They base their values on debased worldly thinking which is devoid of morals. God sets the standard, the boundaries, the difference between right and wrong. The issue in Genesis was about humans respecting God's authority in all matters, in that whatever he has given us .. we use it in the right way. Freedom without problems means choosing to keep within God's moral boundaries - it's an issue of obedience.

Get a dictionary and look up immorality, fornication etc. The issue of morality is not just about 'low standards'.

The way i see it is, if it's wrong to have sex before marriage, then why do we have sexual urges to begin with if we're not married?? I'm 30 years old and i dont want to ever get married, So i'm just supposed to not ever have sex? I dont think so!

@jmac1334 I think it is more important to marry a person who loves God because you know that they will always obey him and secondly, I think it is more important that they have godly character. If a person is not a virgin, they can always ask God for forgiveness and repent and they are new again.

So are you claiming people who have premarital sex aren't great? Also, are you saying people who have premarital sex have low standards? There's nothing wrong with premarital sex
