hmm not sure bout that because i have their making of DVD and i distinctly remember Alex Albert talking about wanting to put reverse reverb on the hi hat for added effect (which i guess they decided not to from what i heard)

From December isn't from Rival Factions, it's originally from ...And The Rest Will Follow, then it was later remixed by Randy for The Kane Mutiny EP (iTunes Exclusive).
