An open townhall meeting usually means that anyone can attend. However, Lloyd Doggett disagrees. He wants to fill his townhall with supporters...afterall, he doesn't want to end up on youtube!

I'm with you.  It was officially a "rally" not a "townhall" because Doggett didn't want to face his constituents. That's much better.

The MoveOn event wasn't a Townhall, MoveOn paid to rent the Church and you were required to RSVP prior to the event. The church filled up very quickly. There were a number of non-supporters in the church; however, one was indeed escorted out for causing a scene.
