Volvo S60:
The S60 was the first Volvo to leave behind the 80's and 90's boxy design. Built on the P2 platform, the S60, along with many other models, followed much smoother contour lines than previous models. The S60 was at first powered by a 247 hp 2.3 liter turbo 5 cylinder engine but was then upgraded to 2.4 liters increasing the power by ten horses. In 2003 the S60 R was introduced with a Haldex AWD system, Brembo brakes, a 296 hp I5 engine and a 6 speed transmission. The S60 utilized a suspension system called Four-C which upon selected could adjust the car's electronically controlled shock absorbers to Comfort, Sport, or Advanced while adjusting up to 500 times a second keeping the car level on the road.

@LimitPushing there is a big difference between big engines and small engines. Just today I beat one s60 on the high way . I have BMW with 3.0 6 cylinder so the volvo engine performed poorly on high speeds. I passed him like he was standing still.
