Handsome Vampire Diaries Actor Michael (Tyler Lockwood) Trevino

Michael stands 5'9", he has dark brown hair and brown eyes. His birthday is Jan. 25, 1985, he's 26 years old.
Michael was born to Mexican parents in Valencia, California, His Mother was origially from Zacatecus, Mexico, and his father was born in Fresno California of Mexican heritage. Michael Trevino was raised in East Los Angeles. Once Michael discovered his passion for acting, he enrolled at Playhouse West for theater studies. One of his first jobs was an Old Navy Commercial. Since then, Michael has held guests spots in various shows, including "Charmed", "Summerland", "Bones", "90210", "The Mentalist", and "CSI Miami". He also appeared on a five-episode guest spot on "The Riches", co-starring with Minnie Driver and Eddie Izzard. Michael also had one of the leads in the Hallmark movie "Love Finds a Home" a motion picture starring John Cusack in 2010.
His total film/TV credits numbered 18, either as a guest or as a regular cast member.

Currently It's not easy being the lone wolf in a town full of Vampires but the "Vampire Diaries" Michael Trevino certainly makes it look cool. In season two (now) of the CW's hit drama, Trevino's mysteriously handsome "Tyler Lockwood" has transformed from just another jock into Mystic Falls resident misunderstood werewolf.

Michael has been interviewed many times so I'm going to take parts from several since I've limited space here.

Q. Who is Michael Trevino?
A. I'm not sure at the moment...I'm still trying to figure him out.
Q. Were you ever exposed to the WEREWOLF stories before getting casted onto Vampire Diaries.
A. I was aware that my character Tyler would eventually become a werewolf. However I was not informed on exacly how this transformation was going to happen. I wasn't given specfics until a few weeks before the shoot.
Q. How do you keep in shape?
A. I honestly just try and workout as much as I can, it's a lot easier when you're on a tight schedule and it just becomes this routine. You have to make healthy habits for yourself and stick to them. Watch what you eat!!!
Q. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
A. I'd have to say whenever I'm challenged with certain material as an actor, at first I'm very nervous and in my head wondering if I can pull it off, but when I relax and take a deep breath I start planning my attack. Those moments really get my creative juices flowing.
Q. Your most MARKED Characteristics?
A. I'm not really sure but I've been told before that I have this "LOOK". I don't know if it's a stare or if it's something I do with my eyes when I'm really focused in on someone or something. Apparently it comes out every now and then.
Q. Favorite vacation place?
A. Hawaii
Q. Defining moment of success?
A. Getting my first offer for a film..aka Not having to Audition!
Q. If you were stuck on an island for 3 days, what 3 items would you take with you?
A. Family photo Album, Ipad, Audio recording of my grandfather doing an interview.
Q. What kind of car?
A. Audi RB
Q. Favorite Drink?
A. Makers on the Rocks
Q. Favorite Food?
A. Anything my grandmother makes.

An avid sportsman, Michael enjoys football, surfing, body boarding, snow boarding, and deep sea fishing. He is also a talented dancer.

Michael now divides his time between Los Angeles and Atlanta Georgia, where the Vampire Diaries films.

Hi Peter, Thanks for watching Michael's video. I really enjoy the TV show The Vampire Diaries & that was because of Ian Somerhalder. But as I've watched each episode, I thought Michael was special. So I did a lot of research on him, and the rest is history. I really enjoyed doing this video & the response has been great.

I love seeing him on the Vampire Diaries, and I think next season his role will become more of a major one.
