An Irish air, played in the key of C on my 6-key Dave Copley D flute. Tune and interpretation are lifted from Eammon Cotter's loveyl CD "Traditional Music from County Clare".
Wonderfully played! I've loved this song for a long time but can't find the sheet music anywhere (and I'm terrible at playing by ear...) Does anyone have a source for the notation?
I know it as the black rock but it could be the white rock too, haha, you know how many different names there are for the same song! Look at how many different spellings there are for Sheebeg and Sheemore!
Very Well done! I play this song and know it under the title of "On the Brink of the Black Rock" Do you think it's the same title, just not in Gaelic?
Lovely playing and nice to see another Copley player on here!:) Gorgeous stuff.

I believe you're correct. Was it black rock or white rock?
