  • Buddy Rich said you cant do much with matched grip. I love ya Buddy but youre wrong about that. Matched grip makes alot of sense, but it all depends on the person. Ive seen great players who play both which is probably the best approach. Im sure Bill Stewart can play traditional also.

  • @ferdrummer Sounds like they'r just playing a 12bar blues..? Anyway I don't regonise the melody. But I saw Scofield in LA and the band jumped into a blues and John just made up the melody as the song went on.

    Amazing trio, wonderful drummer!
