A brief demo of me accessing my home 16-channel AVTech DVR using my mobile phone. It's using GPRS, so there's a fair amount of lag and very low frame rate. By pressing the keys it's possible to switch the camera views, from a single camera to 4/9/16 channel display.

Information on how to add the Java application to your phone can be found here: http://scorpiontheater.com/Documents/AVTech_Guide_GPRS_Setup_English.pdf

The music is my version of Portishead's "Mysterons", I opted for some old technology sounds for this, including an ARP2600 for the theremin and a Mellotron choir for the vocal track.

  • @ugofky lol - it's not quite that bad, but yes, poor frame rates via the GSM network

  • wow the framerate is amazing, must be like half frame a minute, rubbish

  • @mojojojo06666 It's the V787.jar - so it's Java, available from the link I've given (the Scorpiontheatre site).

  • what application did you use for this please?
