Nazi's do suck, but the tank crews and infantry (most of) didnt fught 4 Hitler them fought 4 their home and families just like our boys. Only the SS and a small percentage of regular troops actually fought 4 Hitler

So surviving the war makes you a better soldier? I think that Michael wittmanns tank action at bastogne has earned him the right to be considered equal to all other top tank commanders and that there's no need to get those commanders lined up on a ladder from good to best. especially when you consider that not all commanders had equal chances to get kills.. its the number of russian breakthroughs, the period of the war and the front that can make a lot of differences

ConfederateWill- Although the Tiger I and Tiger II tanks were damn neat, your research is rather flawed. Only 1,349 Tiger I tanks were produced from April, 1942 to August, 1944. In May-June, 1944 only 400 Tigers in TOTAL were available to Panzer units. See Doyle & Jentz -Germany's Tiger Tanks- & -Panzer Truppen...1943-1944-. These books are backed up by several other sources. At least 3 to 5 ACCURATE and reliable references should be consulted before forming an opinion...

oh yeah another thing Otto Carius was the tiger king not Michael Whittman both were sucessful but Carius was better and he lived the war and wrote a book about his experiance in the tigers
