CCP already stated Xbox Live is not so flexible.
So, why MS don't want a revolutionary MMO?
Also, search on Destructoid: Xbox Live hacking is a very real problem.

To all my PS3 users, don't feed into these lame xboxers with their boo hoo comments. They do not even know anything to back up their claims. It has already been stated by CCP ceo Hilmar Veigar Petursson that the PS3 platform far exceeds the capabilities of that other system and that the graphics will be beautifully rendered. Of course, we will be the judge of that but I am happy that this game is coming to the PSN. I buried my RRoD xbox long ago. Sorry ass console. Microsoft ... never again.

Indeed, Flawed Logic, ''dreadful online''.
There is a reason why PSN have more people connected than Xbox Live, because is free. There is another reason why CCP choose PSN over Xbox Live, because is more flexible for them. So that ''dreadful online'' doesn't make sense.
This game is F2P so it will gather more players that wants something fresh and new, a revolutionary MMO game only for PlayStation 3.
