@thesmuggl1n Did you ever find the answer to this? i'm looking to use the DX3S with the M2 as well.
-
@DargoDog Thanks. I have an M2 in my XR10, sounds same as yours, has no proportional but works great for front and rear dig :-)
-
@scorpionrtg38 Did you calibrate the dig channel when you calibrated the throttle channel? This is normally the cause of the problem you described.
-
@thesmuggl1n I don't think so. That radio's third channel is only two-position, the M2 requires at least 3-position 3rd channel to be switched from 4WD, front dig, back dig.
-
Do you know if I can use the m2 with the dx3s?

Nice video!

Sorry for not replying to your messages before now, I don't check my You Tube account all that often.
This video was shot with the first version of the firmware, the proportional mode worked really well, but the dig brake was terrible. The latest Firmware for this ESC solved the dig brake problems, but it also made the proportional control almost nonexistant. Some M2's proportional mode works, most don't.
It does work very well as a three position dig.
If you have a traxxas tq 3 since in novak.com it says u can use that radio tq3 are the funtions limited and if so to what are tney limitef Nice vid

@weroliera The TQ3 can be used, but you need to install a 3-position switch for the 3rd channel.

Can you move more power to the front or is it only to the rear?
cubleycat 1 year ago
@cubleycat Be design, you can move as much power as you need to the front or the rear. ******BUT****.... the M2 is bugged, some have the proportional control, the one I received back from Novak after the Novalink software ate my first one does not have fun control, mainly just three position.

If you have a 3 ch radio you can run a dig or rear steer, but not both. There is a module out there that will allow you to run both, but it doesn't work very well. What kind of crawler do you have?

@DargoDog Sorry for not answering questions sooner. The easiest way to ask me questions is through the RC Crawler forum, user name: Greatscott. But, I may be deployed, so it might be a couple of months before I see you post.
