yes YES WE MUST HAVE SHOW TRIALS! After all, the CIA the heads of ALLEGED terrorists in cold water while questioning them. TORTURE! TORTUE! USA TORTURES!!! And the brave patriots like Nancy Pelsoi, Van Jones, Cindy Sheehan, Cynthia McKinney, Oliver Stone are exposing this out of love for country.
I sure hope John Conyers' wife bribery and fraud trial is over with soon so he can devote his full attention towards his patriotic duty of exposing fascist USA to the world

You're right, I don't really care. However, I'm more interested in understanding why Pelosi is such a partisan political hack, why she is clearly lying, and currently avoiding the question all together. I'm not really pro-torture, but I also wouldn't be too concerned in Panetta had to water-board Nancy's warnout ass.

Can't you all see that BOTH parties want this "distraction" and are just toying with your ignorance? Why do they both want the distraction, you ask? Because, with each passing day lately, both parties and their powerful cronies are cleaning out your bank accounts and your freedoms, and they don't want YOU to catch on to what is really happening to this country. Wake the f up already, people. There is no difference between the Dems and Reps. They are ALL self-serving, low-life criminals.

So if a bystander witnesses a murder and for whatever reason, doesn't report it to the police (whether out of fear, apathy, whatever), would Republicans give the actual murderer a plea deal so we could go after the bystander?
Apparently.

Oh Swine Flu is back in the news. Why?
To change the subject from Bush/Cheney war crimes. Why? Because the Pelosi angle is ridiculous and not not working.
But, I give the media and E for their efforts in trying to keep the truth from the people.

Who authorized the torture? Sure wasn't Nancy.

Don't tell me what the issue is. How bout the issue of her LYING about it? My issue's with the truth. There's no justification for Pelosi's publicly LYING, or for falsely accusing the CIA of lying. Your bit's not funny and it totally dodges the issue.

The entire issue about Pelosi is obfuscation. It's all about trying to get people to think about something else.
The question is this: "Did we torture prisoners under the Cheney administration?" The answer is this: "Yes."
That's not what Republicans want you to answer, though. They want you to say this: "Did Nancy Pelosi know about it? If so, when did she know about it? Did you know she's from San Francisco? "
That's what they want you to say, because then you'll ignore the rest.

I'm tired of Republicans playing "but Billy did it too!" This never worked with Mom when I was nine years old, and by the time I was eleven I'd given it up as an argument.
If Pelosi knew but was legally forbidden to say anything, then we need to change those laws. Hell, MOST of us knew torture was being used, but the criminals are the ones who made it happen.
If she was a part of making torture happen (the current Republican claim), then throw her ass in jail too. Right next to Dick Cheney.

Republicans only have strawman arguments and smoke screens. They can't cover their azzes so they have to try to make someone else look guilty instead of them. This crap has been going on for several decades and people have finally woken up. The media plays the part of lap dog to the GOP and it's not working.
The usual liberal clap trap, evade the issue and make it something other than what it is. Here is the plain simple truth. She new and could have complained, she didn't, now she is complaining about torture, a pure and simple case of Democratic hypocrisy. The question is not authorization the question is hypocrisy and
obfiscation as Libs are so good at. You have rephrased the question to suit your own agenda and as usual you have the same idiots who agree with your tactic.

Who cares though? It wasn't her call. She didn't instigate the policy under anybody's assessment of what happened. So really, who's responsible for the 'clap trap'? Democrats or the Republican desperately trying to distract and spread the blame around? And what's worse, hypocrisy or torture?
I think every position will have its idiots who agree with it, as you prove.
